MY RESEARCH
I am interested in efficient deep learning, visual tracking, and multi-modality perception. Concretely:
-
Efficient deep learning: this includes model compression techniques like pruning, quantization, knowledge distillation, sparse training, acceleration, etc.
-
Visual tracking: this includes short-term(optical flow, etc.) and long-term motion estimation, giving the model a better sense of temporal correspondence.
-
Multi-modality perception: this includes perception with fusion from camera+lidar, etc.
I publish under both the names "Xinglong Sun" and "Alex Sun"
I've been honored to work with Humphrey Shi from SHI/IFP lab at UIUC and GaTech, Yuxiong Wang at UIUC, Jean Ponce at INRIA/NYU, Leonidas Guibas at Stanford, and Jose M. Alvarez 's amazing team at NVIDIA.
