RESEARCH
My research focuses on three main areas: efficient deep learning, visual perception, and autonomous vehicle. Concretely:
-
Efficient deep learning: pruning, quantization, distillation, sparse training
-
Visual perception: tracking, motion estimation, multi-modality perception
-
Autonomous vehicle: end-to-end planning
I publish under both the names "Xinglong Sun" and "Alex Sun"
I've been honored to work with Humphrey Shi from SHI/IFP lab at UIUC and GaTech, Yuxiong Wang at UIUC, Jean Ponce at INRIA/NYU, Leonidas Guibas at Stanford, and Jose M. Alvarez 's amazing team at NVIDIA.
